Recipe Sharing: Biscotti
Posted by Elizabeth on August 7th, 2009Since receiving an espresso machine for his birthday my husband has become quite adept at making some incredible lattes and cappuccinos. What better to accompany a latte than biscotti?
I made some last year at Christmas and he really enjoyed them and has been requesting more since then. Being the good wife that I am, I quickly made him some more…..8 months later. Oops.
The recipe I made at Christmas was a bit labor intensive- three bowls, adding each gradually. It’s a really good recipe just not one I had time for today.
I found this recipe via this blog that I subscribe to. So quick and easy- exactly what I needed.
A couple things I did differently than what the recipe called for was to not add almonds or any almond extract. I also used Frangelico instead of brandy. The flavor is very subtle but compliments the lattes nicely. Enjoy!
